This week sees the release of a campaign to launch Tefal's novel new cookware kit aimed at students - The Survival Kit.

"Not only is the product novel, but also the marketing." Says Tefal Product Manager, Laura Starkie.

The campaign created in a partnership between creative agency ST&MP and online agency Chameleon Net engages students via blogs, and university based advertising. All interested parties are directed to a unique web location where they can learn more about the product, gain recipe suggestions, see Jamie Oliver using the Kit, and participate in a competition to create their own hack.

A hack is a way of solving an everyday problem with an ingenious solution. The competition to find the best hack encourages students to explore the versatility and performance of the Survival Kit in a fun way.

"It is designed to connect with students at a level they will find engaging and memorable", comments Laura.

The Survival Kit developed in a collaboration between Jamie Oliver and Tefal provides students (and people with limited kitchen space) with everything they need to create wholesome food solutions. It incorporates a Wok, a Saucepan, and a Frying Pan, together with glass and silicone lids and a universal handle.

The handle is the key to the kit's genius. As it clips on and off each piece of cookware allowing their use on the hob and inside the oven, thus greatly reducing the number of cookware items you need to cook great meals.

The whole kit then neatly stores in its own cocoon shape that fits small spaces.

The Survival Kit is exclusively available via Amazon.
